How many ways can you customize your Mac? Not many. Desktop wallpaper. Menubar. Dock placement. And… wait… I’m still thinking. Fortunately for Mac users there are plenty of ingenious app developers trying to pay their bills and make a buck or two by soothing our personalization urges.
Such is the app Clock Dock. Guess what it does. It’s a clock in the Dock. Actually, it’s a cute clock in the Dock.
Instead of having to twist your neck and squint your eyes to see the time as displayed in the Mac’s Menubar, a quick glance to the location of your choice in the Dock reveals the time.
There’s not much to Clock Dock other than convenience and cuteness. The convenience is yet another way to check the time. The cuteness is wrapped up in the creatures and graphics and variety of clocks.
While it’s true that Clock Dock is as low in price as a Mac App Store app can be and not be free, the app developer hasn’t even bothered to setup a web site to show off the cuteness or convenience.
Just for those who care, Facebook does not a web site make. Actually, just using Facebook as the contact point indicates a level of commercial savvy that borders on the junior high level.
